Abstract CodeLens is a novel technique for displaying contextually relevant information in a developer heads-up display. CodeLens automatically mines rich information about source code from the repository, and makes it available ambiently with zero clicks. Developers can then dive deeper into the data by clicking on a CodeLens indicator to open the details, and then take action as appropraite on the data - all without ever leaving the code editor.
The above video shows a hands-on demonstration of CodeLens (at the 50 percent mark of the video).
